Dark Survival SMP Realm

This is a classic SMP survival realm intended for players to interact with each as they go through their Minecraft journey. The Dark SMP is by far one of the most laid back and friendly communities. It is a new realm that came out during the release of Minecraft 1.19's Wild Update. With dozens of features and culture, this realm truly amazes many.

SPAWN:

The spawn of this realm is filled with many starter items to help you out in your Minecraft journey. There is a massive set of beds you can use to set your spawn or take with you to another location in the realm. There is a limited amount of beds so be sure to join the realm as fast as possible so you are able to get your bed. There is also a nether portal right next to spawn. This provides easy access to the nether which you can use for travel and gather nether resources. 

There is also a decently sized town built in the spawn of this realm. All the builds within spawn are protected and cannot be broken. There are little houses that can be used by new players as a starter home. These homes are extremely small so we recommend not staying there for a long time. 

There is lots of utility in the spawn. From anvils, to chests, crafting tables, furnaces, and much more. Towards the bottom of the spawn there is an end portal which can be used to go to the dimension. The end dimension is home to lots of obsidian and even the elytra. The elytra is by far one of the most sought out items in Minecraft. It allows you to glide far distances and with fireworks you are able to essentially use them to fly. This will make the game so much more convenient and faster. 

TIPS TO SURVIVE:

While this may seem like a generic SMP realm on the surface, there is a lot more to consider before entering this realm. There are a few tips that can really help you thrive. For starters, it is highly recommended to form alliances with others. This will prevent any battles and you will be able to trade items with other people. Also, refrain from staying in the spawn for too long. While it is packed with many useful resources, a lot of people tend to stay there to start pvp battles with other players. If you are new to the realm we recommend you don't get into any battles since the players who have been on the realm for longer have gotten many effective tools such as netherite armor. 

Also be sure to construct your builds as far away from spawn as possible. Buildings near spawn tend to get destroyed and ruined by new players so if you want to build something more long term be sure to travel a couple thousand blocks away from spawn. While it may take some time to travel that far, it will be worth it for your builds. 

Use an ender chest to hold your most valuable items. Even if your base is built thousands of blocks away, there is still a chance for some wandering person to stumble upon it. They could steal all the loot in the chests while an ender chest is exclusive to each player and no one will be able to take items from your ender chest. Be sure to use a silk touch pickaxe in order to collect the ender chest clean instead of it breaking into multiple pieces of obsidian. 

HOW TO BUILD A BASE IN THIS REALM

One of the most effective ways you can protect your base is to make it hidden. There are many ways you can do this. One example is making a base inside a large mountain with a pistol door. Most people don't pay much attention to mountains and just walk past them which can be used as the perfect place to hide a secret base. You can also hide a base entrance underwater where people would not look. Be sure to not drown while doing this.

RULES:

There are a couple rules in this realm to ensure it is a safe and fun environment for Minecraft players to be in. Toxicity and bullying is not tolerated in this realm and you will be banned. Be sure to treat everyone how you would like to be treated. For the most part, you are free to build whatever you want and speak to whoever you would like. There is no anti-cheat system in this realm apart from just the spawn so be sure to keep that in mind. 

This realm gets a solid 6/10. It could use a bit more new features to make it stand out more amongst all the other SMP realms. It is still a fun and relaxing way to enjoy MCPE realms.
