RPG Medieval Server

There are not many places for people in the roleplay community to interact and find other liked minded players. Roleplayers often spend time on servers such as Mineville and while those servers are great they often lack creativity and are very limited. Thankfully, the Novaland SMP is the complete opposite and is perfect for anyone who enjoys roleplays.

WHAT IS A ROLEPLAY?

Those new to the Minecraft Bedrock space may not be familiar with the roleplay community. Roleplay refers to playing a character in an overarching story with other players acting as a character. This is similar to the game Dungeons and dragons. Roleplays often have a story that all players have to follow. In Minecraft, role plays take place in a giant map that has a certain theme to it. Dialogue in the roleplay can be done via the player chat or on a third party application such as discord or Google hangouts. The roleplay community is very dedicated and enjoys a good story.

NOVALANDS RPG:

This server has a medieval themed map with lots of locations to explore and create stories in. One of these locations include a massive medieval ship. The ship is made to be extremely detailed and includes an interior. There is also a boardwalk that leads up to the ship. There are also multiple towers that can be climbed and the top of these towers offer an amazing view. We recommend playing with ray tracing textures like the image above in order to get the best experience playing on this server. 

DUELS:

If you ever need to incorporate a 1v1 situation in your roleplay, this server has you covered! There is a medieval themed arena that is perfect for a duel. There are also seats all around the arena for anyone wishing to spectate a battle! Duels tend to be extremely intense so be sure to be prepared. Or you can duel each other just to get a break from roleplaying. A fun and relaxing way to pass time for sure.

CUSTOM TERRAIN

Almost everything in this map is transformed to fit in with the medieval theme. The mountains are made to be much bigger and have bigger caves filled with loot. Exploring all this new terrain may take some time but is quite the adventure!

WHAT IS AN RPG?

In this server, an RPG refers to a type of roleplay where each person takes a turn to perform a certain action. This allows for balanced dialogue and for everyone to be included in the realm. RPG is a classic form of gameplay that has been seen in the Pokemon series and much more. RPG can be extremely fun on this server especially with all the custom features on this server.

BUILD PROTECTION:

This server has a system to protect your builds. While this server has lots of open space to build anything to add on to the already impressive world, it should still be a priority to protect the builds. You are able to claim areas of land as yours and no one else will be able to modify anything within your land.

There are also custom textures to fit in with the medical theme. As you can tell from the image above, the map is made to be different and look run down, old, and used. This texture pack is known as the Conquest texture pack and has been around since the year 2012. Since then, this texture pack has been getting updated to include more textures. To this day, the Conquest texture pack never fails to impress new players.

CUSTOM 3D MODELS:

This realm is also well known for having custom models. Some of these models include new horses with armor, knight armor with a massive helmet. The sword is also made to be much longer which adds to the realism of this server. You can wear these armor to enhance the RPG feel to this server. 

The leaves are made to appear far more realistic. The color of the leaves are also changed as well to fit in with the seasons. 

REALM REVIEW:

As someone who has been in the realm space for years, I have never seen an RPG realm this detailed. The creators of this server are beyond passionate about roleplaying and the medival theme.
