Tubnet Server For Minecraft Bedrock & Java

The well known YouTuber Tubbo from the Dream SMP group has recently announced he is working on a brand new Minecraft server. This server is coming out very soon in August 2022. The community has been extremely excited for the upcoming server, asking Tubbo for more details about the server every time he streams.

HISTORY:

What many people don't know is that the Tubnet server has been in development since 2019. The server was originally created to be a private server where the group of YouTubers, The Misfits would record their videos either by themselves or with a group of their subscribers. The realm was never released to the public and for a while people seemed to have forgotten about Tubnet.

The streamer Tubbo has referenced this upcoming project multiple times before its announcement. In February of 2022, Tubbo mentioned that he had purchased an office space for him and his team to work on the server. This shows how truly dedicated Tubbo is and most likely means that the server will be of high quality.

WHO IS TUBBO?

For those are unaware. Tubbo is a popular Minecraft creator on YouTube and Twitch. He is most well known for playing on the Dream SMP and making many collaborations with YouTubers such as Tommyinnit and Sapnap. 2020 was the year of Tubbo where he would gain a significant amount of subscribers and views. It is in this year that Tubbo became a household name. With all his new success he had more resources to bring back the tubnet server in a new and better way. Tubbo is one of the most loved and respected creators in the Minecraft space.

CROSSPLAY FEATURES?

When this server was first announced, the first question many viewers had was what version of Minecraft will this server run on. We are happy to report that this server will work for both Bedrock Edition and Java Edition. That means players on mobile devices, computers, and even certain consoles and join the server. This would bring the Minecraft community together and give the server significantly more reach in terms of who can join. Both Bedrock players and Java players were celebrating after this news went public.

This discord is extremely new so there may be some lag issues as a massive amount of people attempt to join the discord at once. This server has gotten so full to the point where the discord server crashed. 

TUBNET GAMES:

The first few trailers already gave a preview of the massive amount of features in this server. When first watching it, it almost feels as if it's a different game with all the new models, texture and mods. All of these features indicate that this server will be extremely polished. The trailers look like movie trailers with the high level of quality they have. The entire trailer is made to be in a realistic 3D theme. There are so many shadows and brighter lighting. 

WHAT MINIGAMES WILL BE TUBNET?

While the trailer showed us a bit about the content on the server, it didn't really specify what game modes will be on the server. However, many speculate that this will be more of a roleplay server due to all the custom mods that could potentially be used to tell a story. It is entirely possible that this server will not include many pvp game modes due to the major pvp skill gap between Minecraft Bedrock players and Java Edition players. Players on Java Edition play the game using a keyboard and mouse, making it easy to get combos and win pvp battles. However, players on Bedrock Edition may not be on a keyboard and mouse but rather on a mobile device. This would put Bedrock players at a major disadvantage and perhaps make the game less fun for certain Bedrock players. This server may include fun mini games such as tnt run or build battle where anyone can play it without worrying about pvp skill gaps. However, many servers have already done this gamemode and Tubbo would most likely try his best to do something new on his server.

REALM REVIEW

While this server has not been made public, many beta tests have reported that this is an amazing server with a bright future. Some believe that it will even rival massive juggernauts such as Hypixel. We will keep you updated on what happens to the server.
